The latest CES is on the way right now and I have been waiting for one thing with it. WiFi 6E. This is the latest in WiFi technology that I can’t wait to actually buy since I was on the fence for WiFi 6. I just knew the updated 6E was on the way and I could not pull the trigger for WiFi 6. So with that said, I will try to keep track of all the new WiFi 6E instruments being announced during CES for 2021.
Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500
A new Tri-Band wireless router from Netgear that can connect via the new 6GHz and allow many devices to communicate and connect at once. It will be able to push gigabit speeds up to 10.8Gbps through wireless with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, according to Netgear. It will have two USB 3.0 ports, Four gigabit ethernet ports with Link Aggregation, a Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Port with speeds up to 2.5Gbps for LAN, and 12 Streams Tri-Band WiFi which allows more bandwidth and streams for all your devices. This also comes with NETGEAR Armor cybersecurity to keep your network safe and protected.
TP-Link Archer AX96
Another new router that supports WiFi 6E from TP-Link that touts Ultra-Fast Tri-Band WiFi Up to 7.8 Gbps with Premium Multi Gig Wired Network. With plenty of ports such as 1×2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port + 1 x Gigabit WAN/LAN port + 4x Gigabit LAN ports.
Also said to have a quad-core processor with 1.7Ghz Quad core CPU to handle all throughput and eradicate latency according to TP-Link. These routers are also equipped with Homeshield which allows extra security and safer network for your devices.
Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE 11000
Asus has released this new WiFi 6E router which supports up to 11Gbps which is super fast and has access to the 6GHz spectrum. This is the first WiFi 6E router in the market and the WiFi 6E version of the GT-AX11000 router which came out in 2019. The Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE 11000 will support 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz with 4×4 WiFi 6 on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
It has a Quad-core CPU with an advanced cooling system and optimized antennas to help all your devices connect securely and reliably. The 1.8GHz 64 Bit Quad-Core CPU also has 1 GB RAM to easily handle multiple devices with parallel processing for busy connections. Of course being part of the ASUS ROG line, gaming will be given a boost with lower ping rates and lower game latency for a fast gaming experience. As far as security the GT AXE11000 will have AiProtection Pro which is powered by Trend Micro which should keep you safe from internet attacks or threats.

Please remember, in order to utilize these powerful new routers, you would need a device that has WiFi 6E capability. That means many devices released in 2020 might not be eligible. You can always check your device spec sheet to see if it is supported. However we are certain that going forward, many new smartphones, laptops, and smart home equipment will be able to use WiFi 6E allowing homes and users to have uninterrupted internet services or an improvement to internet services in the future.
